We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of the conference. Key measures include encouraging lower-carbon travel choices and offering climate-friendlier catering options.

Travelling sustainably

Travel to and from international conferences is the largest contributor to event-related CO₂ emissions, and flying is by far the biggest share. Whenever possible, we therefore encourage participants to choose train travel over air travel. Catering

Vegetarian and vegan options will be available at all meals. We encourage participants to choose these options whenever possible, as they typically have a lower environmental impact than meat-based dishes.
